My favorite pizza place anywhere! Every time I make it back to Caledonia I have to stop at Pizza Land to get at least a slice if not a whole pie and some hot wings which are really hot. This place has hardly changed in my lifetime much like downtown Caledonia. Order at the counter, grab a seat at a window table and take in all the action around the monument in beautiful downtown Caledonia!

Website says open until 9:30. I've tried calling 3x since 9. Wings should only take 10 min. I don't like always going to the other place because pizza land seems to have better food, but I guess not better employees. They won't pick up the phone to ensure they get out on time. Very sad. Needs better management. I hope the owner looks into this. Called Sunday 7/15 multiple times at 9 and 9:05. I know how kids are as I employ them too, but they need to be taught customer service. I won't try again. Sorry to "bug" you for patronage.

One of the most underrated pizza places in the great Rochester area, Pizza Land offers up delicious pies to the country folks and city dwellers alike, you just may have to drive a little bit to get a taste.
Their differentiator is the sauce: sweet and tangy, but not overwhelming as it quietly hides beneath a proportionate amount of cheese and pepperoni (obviously the tastiest topping). The crust is not too doughy like some places nor so thin that you lack a "handle" to grip all of the flavor.
Don't skip the wings here, but make sure you know what flavors are offered before going for the plain-Jane mild or medium. They have some unique flavor combos that will leave you craving a return visit.
If you can't justify a trip out to Caledonia (or Avon, but I prefer this location) just for pizza, consider checking out the Genesee Country Village down the road first to work up your appetite.
Tip: it's worth the drive just for the pizza. They have a decent dining area if you don't feel like hauling a pizza box home on your lap.
